With a Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering and some previous work experience in my pocket, I joined SII in Germany back in March 2012, where I have ever since been contributing to a series of interesting and challenging projects.

From a list of 79 applicants and 21 finalists, SII Deutschland’s SANTO Seat became winner of the Crystal Cabin Award in the category “Passenger Comfort Hardware”, as part of this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, on 14 April 2015. The impartial jury, composed of aircraft professionals, airlines, manufacturers, academics and journalists, chose SII’s contribution for what industry specialists consider as the “Oscar” of aircraft interiors.
